Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of our website (northwestautoworks.com) and to services provided by Northwest Autoworks, 4519 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, Illinois. By using our website or leaving your vehicle with us, you agree to these terms. Your signed repair order may contain additional terms; if there is a conflict, the repair order controls.

Website Information

We do our best to keep the information on this website accurate, but prices, services, hours, and offers can change. Price ranges on this website are general estimates only — your actual price depends on your vehicle and what it needs. Submitting the appointment form is a request, not a confirmed appointment; we'll contact you to confirm.

Estimates & Authorization

• We'll give you an estimate before starting work, and no work is done without your approval.
• If we find additional problems or the cost will be higher than estimated, we'll contact you and get your approval before doing the extra work.
• Diagnostic or teardown time needed to give an accurate estimate may be charged; we'll tell you in advance.
• You may ask for your replaced parts back when you authorize the repair, except parts that must be returned for a warranty or core credit.

Warranty

We offer a 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) on most repairs. Coverage, exclusions, and how to make a claim depend on the type of repair and parts used — full details are available at the shop and on your repair order. Customer-supplied parts, damage from accidents, abuse, neglect, or later work by others are generally not covered.

Coupons & Special Offers

• Coupons and discounts must be mentioned when you request your estimate or service.
• Unless stated otherwise: one coupon per vehicle per visit, cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, no cash value, and not valid on prior services.
• Offers apply to most vehicles (unless stated otherwise) and are valid through the expiration date shown. Additional parts, fluids, or shop supplies may be extra.
• Veteran and senior discounts require valid ID. Referral credits are applied to a future service.
• We may change or end any offer at any time, but we'll honor a valid, unexpired coupon you present.

Vehicles Left at the Shop

• Please remove valuables from your vehicle. We aren't responsible for personal items left inside.
• We'll let you know when your vehicle is ready. Vehicles not picked up within a reasonable time after notice may be subject to storage charges, as allowed by Illinois law.
• We may drive your vehicle on public roads as needed for testing, diagnosis, and road tests.
• Illinois law gives repair shops a lien on vehicles for unpaid repair and storage charges.

Payment

Payment is due when your vehicle is picked up unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Returned payments may be subject to fees allowed by law.

Communications

By contacting us or submitting our form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request and vehicle. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Northwest Autoworks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost time, lost income, or rental car costs) arising from our website or services, and our total liability for any claim related to a repair will not exceed the amount you paid for that repair. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Illinois or federal consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, unless the law requires otherwise. We'd always rather talk it out first — please call us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows when they were last changed. Changes don't affect work you already authorized.
