Most modern vehicles need an oil change every 5,000–7,500 miles with conventional oil, or every 10,000–15,000 miles with full synthetic. Check your owner's manual — and when in doubt, come see us for a free inspection.
1) Squealing or grinding sounds. 2) Brake pedal feels soft or spongy. 3) Car pulls to one side. 4) Steering wheel vibrates when braking. 5) Brake warning light is on. Any of these? Call us same day.
Not always — but don't ignore it. A solid light often means a minor issue like a loose gas cap. A flashing light means stop driving and call us immediately. Either way, we'll diagnose it fast with our free multi-point inspection.
Before Chicago winter hits: check your battery (cold kills weak batteries), inspect your tires for tread depth, top off antifreeze, test your heat and defroster, and make sure your brakes are solid. We offer a full winter prep inspection — ask us about it.
Tires lose about 1 PSI for every 10°F drop in temperature. Under-inflated tires wear faster, reduce fuel economy, and can cause blowouts. Check your pressure monthly — we'll check it for free at every visit.
Most batteries last 3–5 years. Signs it's dying: slow engine crank, dim headlights, or electrical issues. Chicago winters are especially hard on batteries. If your car is hesitating to start, come in — we test batteries for free.
